First Crush, First Lust, First Love!
Andrea Marr (Dominique Swain, Lolita) is an eighteen-year-old virgin on the verge of womanhood. But when she meets the handsome and seemingly tortured local rock singer, Todd Sparrow (Sean Patrick Flanery, D-Tox), her innocence isn't all that she stands to lose. Desperate to escape the boring world of keg parties and the pressure of impending college, she immerses herself in the loud and dingy club scene frequented by hip school pals - the confidently cool singer Cybil (Tara Reid, American Pie) and carefree intellectual Rebecca (Summer Phoenix, S.L.C. Punk). Soon Andrea's meeting new guys, like the super-cute aspiring music critic Kevin (Channon Roe, Boogie Nights), and actually having a fling with the object of her obsession Todd Sparrow! But will she become his girlfriend or just another throwaway groupie he'll leave behind in the dust? Either way, she'll never be just a "girl" again. |
